Variable-frequency water pumps, as efficient and energy-saving fluid transportation equipment, require scientific maintenance to ensure their stable operation and extend their service life. During daily maintenance, it is necessary to closely monitor the operating parameters of the pump, such as pressure, flow rate, current, and voltage. If any abnormal fluctuations in parameters are detected, the pump should be stopped immediately for inspection to prevent the expansion of the fault. At the same time, the filter screen at the pump inlet should be cleaned regularly to prevent debris from blocking the water flow and affecting efficiency. It is recommended to clean it at least once a week. If the water quality is poor, the cleaning frequency should be increased.
For the key components of the water pump, such as the mechanical seals and bearings, regular inspections for wear conditions are necessary. If there is leakage in the mechanical seal, the sealing parts should be replaced promptly; for the bearings, lubricating grease should be added regularly, typically once every 1,000 hours, to ensure the smooth operation of the rotating parts. Additionally, the frequency converter, as the "brain" of the variable frequency water pump, also needs to be carefully cared for. The internal dust should be cleaned regularly to maintain a good heat dissipation environment and prevent damage to electronic components due to poor heat dissipation.
For the frequently out-of-service variable-frequency water pumps, the accumulated water in the pump should be drained to prevent rusting. They should also be started periodically to maintain the flexibility of the motor and bearings. A detailed maintenance record should be established, documenting the time, content and equipment status of each maintenance. This will facilitate the tracking of the equipment's operation and enable timely detection of potential problems. Only through standardized and meticulous maintenance can the variable-frequency water pumps continue to provide efficient services for production and daily life.
